SEA-Change serves as a forum for the stimulation and exchange of thought-provoking propositions, ideas, and strategies surrounding slavery in colonial America. By focusing on Scholarship, Engagement, and Action, SEA-Change endeavors to generate discussions and formulate conclusions on whether or not colonial slavery was a criminal act perpetrated and perpetuated by the founding fathers on unsuspecting Black Englishmen and kidnapped Africans during the establishment of the Nation. This forum will have far-reaching implications upon America’s historiography and topical social issues like reparations and restorative justice.
